SA’s new entry to its burgeoning AR-15 line features an aluminum free float handguard, flip-up sights, and a pinned low-profile gas block.

Introduced this week as an addition to its Saint series, Springfield bills its patent-pending Free Float Handguard system as providing “almost unlimited M-LOK customization” while its gas block choice renders “wobbly set-screw blocks obsolete.”

Features include an optics-ready flat top design, flip-up front and rear sights, a 16-inch chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1-in-8-inch RH twist, and Bravo Company components such as a rattle-free buttstock, and pistol grip. The rifle uses a GI single-stage trigger and charging handle as well as an M16-style BCG and ships with a 30-round Magpul PMAG to do with all that M-Lok.

MSRP is $1,049.
