New Berlin, Wis. –(Ammoland.com)- As shed season comes to a close, five teams competing in Sportsman Channel’s Shed Wars rally their energy for one final hunt and a chance at their biggest pay day yet. After hours in the field, teams hope to strike a deal with Richard Dorchuck, better known as “Antler Man” – one of the nation’s most notable antler brokers. Shed Wars season finale airs exclusively Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Sportsman Channel.
The teams take to the Rocky Mountains for one final round of shed hunting before the season winds to a close and Antler Man makes his way to buy and sell antlers from the hunters. Adding last minute sheds to their piles will – hopefully – ensure their pay day will be worth the season’s shed hunting challenges.
“Twice a year I try to stop and see these [teams],” said Dorchuck. “A lot of times I try to plan for a little bit of extra time because they’ve always got some good stuff. I’m hoping this goes pretty smoothly, but these guys are some hardcore pickers and they do whatever it takes to grab the bone.”
Meanwhile, Tana Grenda hits the slopes alone in the wilds of Idaho. Amidst the already adrenaline-filled hunt, Grenda finds herself in an unexpectedly dangerous situation. The tables turn and the shed hunter could become the hunted in this week’s action-packed season finale.
