Rinella has a passion for all things turkey, and he is on a mission to transform comedians Callen and Rogan into turkey-loving hunters in just two days. They must learn to use a variety of turkey calls and how to aim at the bird’s extremely limited kill zone. The men begin with a morning of target practice and switch to the real deal later in the afternoon. The trio encounters wet weather conditions, but Rinella has high hopes for the day. Rogan is able to take down a jake, but as the day progresses distinct gobbles fall silent.

“Turkeys are good at avoiding death by shotgun, but that’s what makes turkey hunting so intriguing in the first place,” said Rinella.

The episode continues and Callen hopes to experience Rogan’s turkey hunting success. The weather improves, but the silence of turkeys is deafening. With limited time left for Callen to take his own turkey, cutting his losses may be the only option.

“I’m going to go get a Butterball and I’m going to shoot it,” quipped Callen. “Just so I can technically say I shot a turkey.”
