 New Berlin, Wis. –(Ammoland.com)- Sportsman Channel continues to strengthen its status as the definitive outdoor lifestyle network by rolling out 450 new episodes from 95 series beginning on Monday, September 29 with its “Fall of the Wild” lineupAdditionally, fan-favorite Pigman: The Series celebrates its 100th episode on October 12 and North American Whitetail celebrates 10 years of big-name, whitetail hunts and – “just give me a second” – moments with host Stan Potts this season.

“Fall is a very important and exciting time of year for America’s sportsmen and women,” said Marc Fein, executive vice president of programming and production at Sportsman Channel. “We present the most compelling, authoritative and entertaining personalities in the industry and our programming is second to none.”

The fall lineup of 450 new episodes means 225 hours of fresh programming from returning favorites: Gun It with Benny Spies, Predator Nation, Outback Outdoors, Dropped: Project Alaska 2.0, Addictive Fishing and more. In case that isn’t enough action, Racksgiving sponsored by Bushnell is returning November 25-28 with more than 25 hours dedicated to big buck hunts from the most remote and amazing places on earth.

Other programs that will be showcased in primetime and give viewers a taste of what they have come to expect from the leading programmer in outdoor lifestyle television include: Petersen’s Hunting Adventures, Bowhunter TV and Guns & Ammo. The network’s “Lock and Load Monday,” “Big Game Wednesday” and “Full Draw Friday” are also back and offer an array of quality and exciting programming to all outdoor enthusiasts.

An exciting, new addition to the Q4 schedule is the network premiere of Hog Dawgs. The show combines the very dangerous job of nuisance animal control with alluring huntresses who jump into the fray corralling feral pigs, alligators, snakes and coyotes on a daily basis.

On November 11, the network will once again honor and recognize U.S. servicemen and women during its Veterans Day Salute sponsored by Bravo Company as part of Sportsman’s “Salute to Service” initiative. During the day, selected episodes will feature field adventures with veterans or current active military personnel, followed by an NRANEWS Cam & Co. Veterans Day special at 5 p.m. ET which leads into the critically-acclaimed film – MURPH: The Protector at 6 p.m. ET. The intimate and in-depth feature-length documentary is based on Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Michael Murphy’s life of honor, courage and commitment, as told by his friends, family and teammates. Additionally, Sportsman Channel “Salute to Service” spokesman Gary Sinise will introduce messages and special vignettes from active U.S. military men and women in the field throughout the world courtesy of the Department of Defense.

Q4 Highlights Include:

  • Hog Dawgs – With the mix of nuisance animal control meeting “Charlie’s Angels,” the world of hunting is no longer just for men. The women of Hog Dawgs are deadly serious about the task of eradicating nuisance animals from ranches and farms by putting their skills with the tools of the trade – rifles, shotguns, bows or knives – to the test. And they get the job done…with a woman’s touch. Premieres October 27 at 7 p.m. ET.
  • UNCAGED with Matt Hughes (Four-part series) – Follow Matt on this four-part series through the desert climate and vastness of Namibia.  Starting the safari off with Matt are good friends Dan and Charlotte Catlin of The Wildlife Gallery, and Executive Producer and good friend Blake Barnett.  Get ready to see what 14 days in the African bush is like. The four-part series airs October 18 and 25, and November 1 and 8 at 9 a.m. ET.
  • Trailing the Hunter’s Moon (Four-part series) – It’s whitetail time in Texas and thus begins a four-part series with “Mr. Whitetail” Larry Weishuhn. One thing is certain in this whitetail series – viewers will see big bucks. The four-part series airs October 25, November 1, 8 and 15 at 9:30 a.m. ET.
  • Dropped: Project Alaska 2.0 – Brothers Chris and Casey Keefer are ‘dropped’ once again into the backwoods of Alaska on a 100-mile float trip to their extraction point. Along the way, they meet angry grizzlies, elusive moose and more challenges thrown at them than the first time they were dropped. And they thought this time was going to be easier. New episodes begin October 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
  • The Outfitters Built by Ford F-SeriesWorld-renowned outdoor experts, Captain Conway Bowman, Fred Eichler, Haley Heath and Huntley Ritter, take viewers into the lives of professional guides, their gear, crew, and how they make their living under grueling conditions. From the swamps of Florida to the snow-capped mountains of Alaska, “The Outfitters” provide an inside look at the wild, often dangerous, and always thrilling lives of the toughest and best guides, captains and outfitters in the world of hunting and fishing. Airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
  • Big Deer TV – Act of Valor – The Outdoor Recreation Heritage Fund exists to provide healing opportunities to veterans, troops and families through hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. ORHD director Jack Hazel hosts Mike Hanback and veterans Calvin Todd and Ken Katter on a whitetail hunt. October 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
