Sportsman Channel’s “Bownanza” presented by QuietKat Begins a Week of Bowhunting Programming on Tuesday, September 15 at 8 p.m. ET
DENVER (Ammoland.com) – Sportsman Channel’s annual stick-and-string programming stunt, Bownanza presented by QuietKat begins Tuesday, September 15 at 8 p.m. ET for five days of heart-pounding bowhunting television. Viewers will see 30 episodes during the week, including four action-packed primetime nights of bowhunting programming, leading up to a marathon and one-hour special featuring Major League Bowhunter, Saturday, September 19 at 4-8 p.m. ET.
Sportsman Channel hits the mark with top talent and bowhunting programming featuring the likes of Tim Wells, David Blanton, Chris and Casey Keefer, Fred Eichler and Curt Wells in their shows: Relentless Pursuit, Realtree’s Monster Bucks, Rival Wild, Easton Bowhunting TV and Bowhunter TV.
Bownanza kicks off on Tuesday, September 15, taking over five days of bowhunting madness. Viewers will enjoy new episodes of MCMILLAN, Mathews Dominant Bucks, Savage Outdoors, Whitetail Fix presented by Bear Archery and Gun It with Benny Spies, among others. The weeklong bowhunting programming is a precursor to a Saturday marathon event featuring Major League Bowhunter and a one hour-long special to conclude the night – on September 19. The one hour special features Jeff Danker, host of Major League Bowhunter, and the pursuit of a world class whitetail that has evaded the hunter’s arrow since 2011. Danker will attempt to finally close the distance.
“Bownanza is Sportsman Channel’s annual call to bowhunters across the country to get in the spirit of the season,” said Mitch Petrie, vice president of programming and production for Sportsman Channel. “The event is in line with the network’s aim to continue providing a home for top bowhunting content.”
