Sportsman Channel Marketing Staff Named Cable TV’s ‘Marketing Team of the Year’

New Berlin, Wis. –(Ammoland.com)- Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor television for American sportsmen and women, was named “Marketing Team of the Year” by CableFAX at the annual The Faxies award ceremony in New York City on June 10. CableFAX is a leading industry trade publication.  The FAXIES recognize industry leaders that achieve excellence across all areas of public relations, marketing and sales.

Sportsman Channel’s marketing team, led by Vice President of Marketing Ben Lines, was recognized in a very competitive field of entries that included: A&E Television Networks, Discovery Channel and International Media Distribution. Sportsman’s marketing team was honored for its ongoing affiliate marketing efforts in support of the network’s continued distribution growth.

Sportsman assisted Comcast with its Xfinity Home product launch that targeted the outdoor lifestyle consumer, as well as developed custom marketing solutions for other MVPDs, along with innovative and integrated consumer marketing brand and targeted programming campaigns.

In a rapidly consolidating industry dominated by massive programming groups, the Sportsman marketing team has combined consumer and affiliate marketing into one tight-knit squad of believers who, in the past year, have planned innovative consumer marketing brand and targeted programming campaigns, executed more than 25 consumer shows, attended nearly 50 cable and industry trade shows and events, as well as continued to grow its annual Hunt. Fish. Feed program.
