Columbus, OH -(AmmoLand.com)- The launch of the new-look Sportsmen’s Alliance will make a national debut in 36 million households when a powerful commercial appears on Sportsman Channel as part of Jason Matzinger’s #PROJECTELK, which airs Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. EST.
The one-hour special highlights the challenges elk face during each of the four seasons, the intimate connection of hunter to prey and the role of sportsmen in wildlife management and conservation.
“We believe the discussion Jason raises in #PROJECTELK is an important one hunters must have, and that it will ultimately help the non-hunting public understand the importance of hunters in conservation and wildlife management. And those are the people we must reach if we hope to protect hunting, fishing and trapping in the future,” said Brian Lynn, vice president of marketing and communications for Sportsmen’s Alliance. “With that thought, we saw no better place to take our first step into producing a commercial for television, and tying it to the rebranding of our organizations.”
The new commercial features a powerful message delivered by an ensemble cast of the most popular and recognizable faces from the outdoors industry, including Melissa Bachman of Winchester Deadly Passion, Jana Waller from Skull Bound TV, Michael Hunsucker from Heartland Bowhunter, Jen Adams-O’Hara and Norissa Harman from Universal Huntress TV and Girls with Guns clothing, as well as Jason Matzinger, who also hosts Into High Country.
