Smith & Wesson teamed up with Crimson Trace to launch the new M&P15T rifle with a factory installed Crimson Trace LiNQ laser sight and light system.

The modern sporting rifle boasts a 13-inch M&P slim, modular free float-rail system. Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, the AR-15 offers 5R rifling for increased accuracy. The long gun comes fitted with Magpul MBUS front and rear sights as well as the Crimson Trace LiNQ system. The LiNQ is a wireless operated laser sight and light setup that offers a bright green laser and 300-lumen white LED light for low light shooting.

“The M&P15T rifle was the perfect platform to showcase the award winning LiNQ, wireless operated system,” Lane Tobiassen, president of Crimson Trace, said in a press release. “Together with Jan Mladek, general manager for the M&P Brand, we were able to collaborate and develop a firearm package that showcases the versatility of the LiNQ as well as the ability of the M&P15T rifle to adapt to accessories.”

The LiNQ system boasts patented instinctive activation laser system operation button on the pistol grip, windage and elevation adjustments and laser and strobing light modes.

The M&P15T is currently available with an MSRP of $1,499.
