You’re not the only person worried about the zombocalypse. As it turns out, Hyundai is pretty concerned about it too. They’ve already got a fleet of cars on AMC’s The Walking Dead, and now they’re adding something really zombtastic. If the day ever comes where The Walking Dead ever becomes a reality, you’re going to want… no, NEED this vehicle to make it out alive.
According to technabob, The Hyundai Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine was the lucky design by Anson Kuo that was selected out of approximately 82,500 concepts. All of which were brought to (un?)life via The Walking Dead Chop Shop app, where you can pour out your whimsical zombie fighting ideas over and over until you create the perfect end of the world bug-out vehicle.
Galpin Auto Sports took this magnificent machine from concept to Comic Con, giving you everything needed to roll happily through zombie infested streets, including knife blades, an automatic crossbow, razor-wired windows, three machine guns, a samurai sword, aluminum armor and even a silencer for the muffler.
If you have the good fortune to be at the New York Comic Con this week, check out booth #542 to see this zealous zombie slayer up close and personal. If you’re really lucky, you can sit in the driver seat for a photo op.
Now, best bug out vehicles and set ups for the zombie apocalypse. Go!
