In the latest addition to their line of limited edition pairings, SilencerCo mates a Big Horn Armory lever gun to a Hybrid suppressor.
In an example of art as interpreted through steel and walnut, the base of the package is a Big Horn Armory Model 90 chambered in hard-hitting .460 S&W (which can also accommodate 454 Casull and .45 Long Colt). The Model 90s barrel is just 18-inches, putting it squarely in the cowboy carbine category, but its muzzle is threaded in 5/8×24 to accept factory cans.
The entire rifle, which boasts a 17-4 stainless steel action, is finished in a matte hunter black and is paired with a SilencerCo Hybrid suppressor with matching engraving. Everything comes in a handcrafted custom leather scabbard made by Winding Wheel of Utah that accommodates both the Big Horn and the can. The package is limited to just 25 sets.
Horse not included.
The whole set up is pretty quiet, with Hornady 225gr .45 Colt FTX hitting the scales at 127.9 dB under tests.
Price? $5,200. But hey, you gotta pay to play…
