Sight In Your Favorite Rifle, Shoot At New Shotgun Range
LEWISTON, ID –-(AmmoLand.com)- With Idaho’s general rifle season fast approaching, the Idaho Fish and Game encourages hunters to visit their local rifle range before the seasons begin.
Saturday, September 19, marks the Tenth Anniversary of the Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club Shooting Range near Lapwai.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., hunters can zero in their favorite hunting rifles, centerfire or black powder rifles.
Cost per shooter is $2.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members. Shooters may bring as many firearms as need to be sighted in. Youth under 18 years of age shoot free.
A new 3-position shotgun trap range will be available for a cost of $6.50 per 25 targets or $4.00 per 25 targets if you provide our own.
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game and Wildlife Club will co-host a free hotdog and hamburger lunch from 10:30 a.m. to 1p.m. A large layer cake has been donated for dessert.
From Lewiston, travel south on Highway 95 toward Lapwai. Just north of Lapwai, turn east on the Tom Beall Road. Stay to the right 4.5 miles. The range is on the left.
