Sig Sauer is expanding on its Electro-Optics division lineup with the announcement of a new red-dot sight called the ROMEO6.
Available in two models — the ROMEO6T and ROMEO6H — the full-sized red dots are ideally suited for MSR and AR platforms for all tactical shooting applications. Both models are offered with Ballistic Circle Dot and Ballistic Circle-Plex quad reticles with vibrant and clear visuals for close-quarters shooting and rapid engagement. Each reticle style has four user selectable reticle options, giving shooters the ability to toggle to a preferred reticle selection.
Both ROMEO models offer unlimited eye-relief, allowing shooters to acquire aiming point and target regardless of the eye’s position behind the sight. Red LED illumination allows for better daylight visibility with extended runtime and mil-spec objective coating, limiting light leakage downrange.
Like many of Sig’s other electro-optics product, the ROMEO6 is engineered with Motion Activated Illumination. MOTAC powers up when it senses motion and powers down when there is none. This feature provides both operational safety and better battery performance.
The higher end ROMEO6T is outfitted with a solar panel with two super capacitors, providing up to nine hours of battery-free life with a battery backup for longer days on the range. The 6T also features a 7075 aluminum housing for durability in the field.
The ROMEO6T retails for $719.99 while its sister the ROMEO6H comes in at the lower price point of $539.99.
