Siberian has joined a Hunter’s Quest to Connect on the Bull Elk he refers to as “The One”
Bozeman, MT -(AmmoLand.com)- Siberian Coolers has partnered with Jason Matzinger’s on his upcoming production titled, #ProjectElk.
Matzinger, host of the television series Into High Country, has spent countless hours, weeks and even years documenting his quest for a bull elk that stands apart from all the others that roam the west. The result is #ProjectElk.
#ProjectElk will air 7 p.m. (EST) on August 15th and then again on October 31st at 7 p.m. (EST) on The Sportsman’s Channel.
Follow along on this epic journey alongside one of North America’s most majestic creatures, the Rocky Mountain Elk. #ProjectElk is edited from more than 200 hours of footage taken over six hunting seasons. Throughout the changing of the seasons, you will witness everything from the cruelty of winter’s grip to the majesty of the fall’s rut, and the role hunters as conservationists play in this holistic ecosystem.
“We are honored to support Jason and the journey that #ProjectElk encompasses,” stated David Cronk, National Sales and Marketing Director for Siberian. “If you hunt elk or any other big game species, this production will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.”
#ProjectElk is the story of the origins, science, and evolution behind conservation and the question around whether hunters are the earth’s true conservationists. You will witness interviews with hunters, biologists, wildlife experts and diverse perspectives on this pivotal topic and how Matzinger, as a hunter, respects this process during his quest for the elk of his dreams. To further the importance of conservation and further impact of #ProjectElk, a key partnership was formed with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
“As hunters and fisherman we need to become leaders,” stated Matzinger. “We need to open humanity’s eyes to the problems we face so our children can enjoy the same natural world we’ve enjoyed. Yes, #ProjectElk documents the quest for a trophy bull elk, but this production is more than that. It’s about the journey and the sights and sounds that we all experience as outdoorsmen and women.”
