Austin, TX -(Ammoland.com)- The Texas Big Game Awards(TBGA) recognizes hunters annually for their high-quality (and even record-breaking) harvests.

Entry categories include Scored White-tailed Deer, Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, Pronghorn Antelope and Javelina. There are also categories for youth and first-time hunters.

Landowners can enter for qualifying game harvested on their property. Bigger game is a result of better habitat and TBGA wants to recognize landowners that have helped make Texas a great place for hunting.

The deadline for entries is March 1 and all categories are free to enter. Find a TBGA certified scorer and complete program rules and information online.

Don’t miss your chance to rack up those bragging rights!

And for students, TBGA is now offering 9 scholarships (eight regional scholarships for $1,500 and one top scholarship for $3000)! Students should apply by March 31 and be pursuing an Agriculture or Natural Resource related degree to be eligible.
