Senator Tester – This Week on Gun Talk Radio
MANDEVILLE, LA –-(Ammoland.com)- It’s military trophies, deceit in politics and more, this Sunday on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk (R) Radio, the nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
U.S. Senator Jon Tester, D-Montana, introduced Senate Bill 798, the Veterans’ Heritage Firearms Act of 2011, as a way for any American veteran stationed outside the US who acquired a firearm in combat between June 26, 1934 and October 31, 1968, to register the firearm so the veteran or his family could legally own it.
“This is about respecting America’s war heroes, and making sure they can pass on some of their heritage to their kids and grandkids,” said Tester, Chairman of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus.
“These are the same brave men who left their homes and crossed oceans to fight for the freedoms we enjoy today. If this bill will make it a little bit easier for them to pass on that history, then we should get it done.”
Also on Gun Talk this Sunday is author Guy Smith with his book “Shooting the Bull”. In this latest offering from Smith, he examines why some politicians operate by lying to the voting public, and the war the gun control lobby is waging against gun owners.
