Denver, CO -(AmmoLand.com)- Brothers Chris and Casey Keefer are once again being “Dropped” into the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness to see if they have what it takes to brave the elements and survive on their own for 30 days.

While the weather may be heating up in most parts of the U.S. this summer, tune into Outdoor Channel on Monday, July 11 at 9 p.m. ET to catch the Keefers as they take on Mother Nature at her absolute coldest.

To celebrate the season premiere of Dropped, the Keefer Brothers will be hosting an invitation-only Michigan premiere party on July 11 at the Rusted Rooster production studio from 7:30 to 10 p.m. ET.

Not in Michigan? Don’t worry – fans across the U.S. can join the fun via the Keefer Brothers’ LIVE stream on Outdoor Channel’s Facebook page both a half-hour before the show airs (8:30 p.m. ET) and for 15-30 minutes after the show ends (9:30 p.m. ET). The Keefers will discuss the premiere, as well as answer viewer questions and give away prizes from PSE Archery, Cabela’s, Buck Knives, Winchester and ScentLok to randomly selected winners.

Season Five of Dropped: Escape the Arctic includes a new plot twist: the Keefers are left with nothing but the clothes on their back and a sidearm for protection. Provisions will be limited and placed at specific predetermined locations along their route. The brothers will have to utilize all of their angling, hunting and survival skills in order to reach their pick-up point in time or else… And their relationship will be tested as there is no one else to rely on but each other.

Viewers of the 10-episode season, which is presented by Winchester, will see the Keefers in all kinds of unpredictable and dangerous situations. Without oars, the duo are forced to trudge through freezing, shallow waters and barren earth in subzero temperatures as they search for supplies. Terrain changes happen without warning, forcing them into choke points where fierce grizzly bears roam. The brothers will fight for their lives to get to the appointed extraction site as a ferocious arctic storm nips at their heels.
