An inmate currently serving a 15-year sentence in a federal prison in Scranton, Pennsylvania, got 27 months added to his sentence for possession of a shank.
Dwayne Parker, 31, pleaded guilty to the charge in June, and a federal judge added to his sentence on Dec. 10. Parker is currently serving time for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The case was investigated by the Bureau of Prisons and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
