Savage Arms has rolled out several new guns since January and the roll outs keep coming, with the company announcing the launch of the Model 10 GRS.
First showcased at SHOT Show, the Model 10 GRS is finally making its way to consumers. Savage Arms said shipments of the new tactical-style rifle are headed to dealers.
Intended for long range shooters, the Model 10 is offered in a 6.5 Creedmoor configuration with 24-inch barrel or a .308 Win setup featuring a 20-inch barrel. Both models feature a heavy, fluted 5/8-24 threaded barrel.
Aesthetically, the rifle’s design touts a slim grip and fore-end with textured rubber grip surfaces. The GRS boasts an adjustable stock made of 15 percent fiberglass-reinforced Durethan and the Savage AccuTrigger. The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable giving consumers the feel of a custom rifle without the hefty price tag.
The Model 10 GRS ships with a 10-round AICS-compatible magazine. Both the 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win models retail for the same price at $1,449.
