The fat man in the red suit who rides in a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer made a stop at South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley’s home last night. What he left the GOP governor was quite the gift: a Beretta PX4 Storm.
Haley showed off what arguably has to be her favorite present on social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“Our family had a wonderful Christmas together! I must have been good Santa gave me a Beretta PX4 Storm,” wrote Haley.
Indeed. She must have been good.
Spoiler alert!
There is no Santa Clause. The gift actually came from her husband, Michael.
A Haley spokesperson told ABC News that “plans to test it out on the range,” presumably in the near future.
Haley likes firearms. She toured the FN Manufacturing facilities in Columbia, South Carolina, back in July. While there, she talked with employees and fired some guns, to which she said the experience was “a good time” and a “good stress reliever,” quipping “And I did it in heels.”
Haley will be up for reelection in 2014. No doubt the fact that she embraces firearms manufacturers and the firearms community will please the gun-loving voters in The Palmetto State.
As for me, I’m not gonna lie. I’m a bit jealous. I would’ve taken a PX4 from St. Nick. Though, in truth, I’m not sure I behaved well enough this year to warrant a $555 pistol.
How bout you? Did Santa (or a significant other, family member, friend) get you a firearm for Christmas?
