New Berlin, Wis. –-(Ammoland.com)- May 4, 2011 Sportsman Channel and Time Warner Cable are teaming up to host a Hunt.Fish.Feed event in San Antonio on Tuesday, May 10, serving dinner at the San Antonio Food Bank Community Kitchen at Haven for Hope.

Special guest Brian “Pig Man” Quaca of Pig Man: The Series on Sportsman Channel will help serve the roasted pig meal – his specialty! Hunt.Fish.Feed., created by Sportsman Channel, is a unique outreach program that taps an underutilized food source—game meat and fish donated by sportsmen—to feed those struggling with hunger across America. San Antonio’s event will utilize 200 lbs of roasted pig donated by Pig Man.

Brian “Pig Man” Quaca, based in Houston, TX, says his personal mission is to eradicate problem pigs in Texas and southern U.S. His show debuted in 2009 on Sportsman Channel and is a highly sought-after TV personality. Visit www.pigmantv.com for more information.

“We are pleased to bring our Hunt.Fish.Feed program to San Antonio, where hunting, shooting and fishing traditions are so rich, and have the opportunity to partner with Time Warner Cable,” said Todd Hansen, COO and founder of the Hunt.Fish.Feed. program for Sportsman Channel. “Hunt.Fish.Feed. provides thousands of people nationwide with nutrient-rich game meat and fish. This is the first time we’ve roasted a pig on site as we wanted to plan our menu around our special guest, Pig Man.”

“Hunt.Fish.Feed is a unique event and we’re happy to partner with the Sportsman Channel to bring this opportunity to the San Antonio Food Bank and Haven for Hope to aid in their mission of feeding the hungry of Bexar County,” said Gavino Ramos, vice president of communications for Time Warner Cable in South Texas. “This event also gives our employees an opportunity to give back to the community by serving the guests in attendance at Hunt.Fish.Feed.
