Owner of Sprague’s Sports in Yuma served on retailer advisory council
Phoenix, AZ -(AmmoLand.com)- A stalwart of the Arizona shooting sports industry, Richard Sprague, longtime owner of Sprague’s Sports in Yuma, is the newest member of the board of governors for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF).
Sprague has been the owner of his family’s 60-year-old business since 1984. In 2005, Sprague’s Sports moved into its current 18,100-square-foot facility with a 10-position, 25-yard rifle-rated range and classroom.
Sprague has served on NSSF’s retailer advisory council for more than 10 years.
As the trade association for the firearms industry, NSSF’s mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of more than 13,000 manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers.
