RGS to hold Fun Shoot in Mannheim, Pa

Mannheim, Pa – -(OutdoorWire.com)- The South Mountain Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) will hold its Inaugural Grouse Challenge Fun Shoot on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Elstonville Sportsman’s Association, 3133 Pinch Road, Mannheim, Pennsylvania, beginning with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. Shoot begins at 9 a.m.

According to Jan Christen, the cost is $45 per shooter and includes 75 targets, breakfast, lunch, door prizes and awards.

“This is a great way to enjoy a fun day of shooting and at the same time help restore grouse and woodcock habitat,” Christen said, adding that all proceeds from this event will be used for local habitat projects.
