An updated version of the famed “Resident Evil 4” game is heading to the PC platform as a digital download on Steam.
The original game debuted in 2005 and received numerous “Game of the Year” awards. Years later it is still hailed as one of the highest rated titles of all time. The new HD edition for PC will be available as a digital download for $19.99 on Feb. 28 and includes remastered graphics and new bonus content, according to the video posted to YouTube.
The third-person-shooter follows Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy as he battles against the onslaught of zombie hordes and races against the clock to save the president’s daughter.
The updated 60-frames-per-second frame rate has been optimized for wide-screen and brings sharpened visual clarity to the old characters.
Those that pre-order the game will receive a digital soundtrack with more than 60 tracks and a digital 80-page art book.
