Repeal Pistol & Crossbow Transfer Permit HB 390
Thank the sponsors.
North Carolina –-(Ammoland.com)- Representative MARK HILTON will be introducing HB 390 whose long title gives a good explanation of its purpose: an act to repeal the state law that requires a person to obtain a license or permit to purchase, sell, give away, receive, or otherwise transfer a pistol or crossbow.
Central to this – not to mention almost all pro-gun legislation in North Carolina over the last 16 years – is GRNC.
Knowing that the National Instant Check System (NICS) has made these permits both redundant and archaic. Not to mention the fact that sheriffs have, for years, offered a variety of obstacles to purchase permit applications.
