Greensboro, NC –-(Ammoland.com)- The Remington Arms Company in Rockingham County recently donated $50,000 to the Red Cross Philippine relief effort.
“The people of the Philippines have experienced a devastating tragedy,” said John Day, Vice President and General Manager of Remington Defense.
“Through this donation, we wish to express our heartfelt support of the Philippines during these difficult times and hope it helps to alleviate their suffering. We would also like to express our gratitude to the Red Cross for always being the first to respond in times of need.”

The American Red Cross appreciates the donation, which will be turned over to the Philippine Red Cross to take care of immediate needs in the hard hit area.
