Outdoor powerhouse Remington came to the NRA show in Atlanta on Friday with two new ammunition series in multiple loads aimed at revolver aficionados and hunters.
The two new lines are the Performance Wheelgun— in eight different loadings in everything from an 88-grain .32 S&W to a 250-grain .45 Long Colt — and the High Terminal Performance (HTP) Copper series consisting of seven rifle loads from a 62-grain .223 to a 168-grain .308.
The Performance Wheelgun line uses Kleanbore primers and lead round nose bullets (except for lead semi-wad cutters in .357 caliber offerings) and is marketed as ideal for both target and competitive shooting in revolvers and lever-action rifles.
The HTP Copper line uses a one-piece Barnes TSX copper bullet (Barnes is owned by Remington) that incorporates a hollow-point cavity and sleek bullet profile.
