USA -(AmmoLand.com)- The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) kicked off its 2016-17 Clay Target season with the Upper West Coast Conference Championships from Oct. 1–2 at the Black Dog SC and Boise Gun Club in Boise, Idaho.

The Upper West Coast Conference Championships consisted of 53 men and women student-athletes who competed in American-style and sporting clays events. Five high school trap and skeet teams—Alaska YESS Varsity Team, Bishop Manogue High School Clay Target Club, Boise Buck Shots Youth Shooting Team, Coeur d’Alene High School Viking Trap & Skeet Team, and WWGC Youth Trap & Skeet Team—shared the range with those from Boise State University, Fresno State University, the University of Idaho, North Idaho College, and the University of Utah.

Here are the top-three finishers and their scores from each event:

American Skeet:

ACUI has organized the collegiate clay target championships for 49 years. The Clay Target Collegiate Shotgun Bowl Series was created in 2012 to provide additional opportunities for competition closer to participating campuses, thereby allowing full team roster participation.
