BOGART, Ga. –-(Ammoland.com)- The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is proud to announce that McCormick USA Inc., manufacturer and distributor of a full line of compact, utility and agricultural tractors, is its newest corporate sponsor.
As part of the four-year agreement, McCormick is providing an X10 series tractor and a full line of McCormick by Woods implements for use in outdoor classrooms, testing sites and field work conducted to extend the habitat-management knowledge of QDMA members.
“QDMA is extremely proud to partner with McCormick because they make practical, high-quality, and affordable products that benefit our members in their land and wildlife management efforts,” said QDMA CEO Brian Murphy. “This is a win-win situation for McCormick, QDMA and wildlife conservation in general.”
“Being associated with QDMA brings us close to what is surely the most passionate, creative and resourceful group of tractor users anywhere,” said McCormick CEO Doug Rehor. “Further, QDMA’s wildlife and land conservation mission, promotion of ethical hunting practices and dedication to preserving America’s hunting heritage align very well with our own corporate culture and history.”
McCormick is built on more than 180 years of heritage; from the world’s first practical reaper in 1831, through the long distinguished line of tractors that followed. The McCormick brand epitomizes quality, craftsmanship, and innovative design. McCormick offers a full line of farm, compact and utility tractors and associated attachments.
McCormick understands that for QDMA members, a tractor can rapidly advance efforts to develop quality deer habitat, but it must be durable, versatile and affordable. When hunters need a tractor that can help prepare wildlife habitat as well as maintain it, McCormick has a tractor that is right, including the X10 Series and the T-Max Series, compact and utility tractors ranging from 17 to 95 PTO HP. McCormick makes other tractors to over 200 HP for applications as varied as row, crop farming, hay & forage and dairy operations.
The X10 series is for those in need of a smaller yet dependable tractor. These compact tractors come with a range of engines to choose from, providing rugged dependability and operating with the best noise reduction technology on the market. The X10 series includes PTO horsepower from 17 to 78, and transmissions are available in both manual and hydrostatic versions.
The T-Max Series utility tractors are the next step up and designed for bigger farming and habitat operations. The T-Max features PTO horsepower from 71 to 95, with a choice of cab or ROPS, 2 or 4wd, and synchro or power shift transmissions.
In addition, McCormick has partnered with Oregon Illinois-based Woods Equipment Co. to create the “McCormick by Woods” line of attachments for the wildlife habitat manager. They include several styles of rotary cutters, finish mowers, post-hole augers, stump grinders, rotary tillers, discs, box blades, turf renovator/seeders, as well as front-end loaders and backhoes, all in McCormick red, and branded “McCormick by Woods.”
