LUVERNE, Ala. – -(AmmoLand.com)- ThePursuit Channel proudly announces the addition of Quality Deer Management Association’s (QDMA) popular “Quality Whitetails Television” re-airs to the 2010 lineup beginning this January.

The QDMA has been the driving force for increasing awareness about sound whitetail management practices and safe, ethical hunting since its inception over 20 years ago. Through its numerous partnerships with wildlife agencies, timber companies, industry manufacturers and hunting groups, the QDMA and their over 50,000 members have made quality deer management a household term among American deer hunters.

“Quality Whitetails Television” features one of the most innovative formats ever in outdoor television. It is a unique blend of deer biology, deer management and deer hunting brought to you by many of the nation’s leading whitetail experts: host Neil Dougherty, wildlife habitat consultant from New York, co-hosts Dr. Karl Miller, professor of Wildlife Management at the University of Georgia, Brian Murphy, Joe Hamilton and Kip Adams, all noted wildlife biologists with the QDMA. Each episode is dedicated to helping viewers achieve better deer and better deer hunting.

Pursuit has recently welcomed a wealth of leading producers to a dramatically upgraded 2010 lineup, which will now include QDMA. Last month Mossy Oak announced its commitment of resources to branded, destination blocks of programming, anchored by their award-winning, popular programs. Leading producers including Hank Parker, Keith Warren, the NWTF and many others have also committed to Pursuit.

“Pursuit’s focus on the outdoor lifestyle and hunting heritage makes it the perfect home for ‘Quality Whitetails Television,’ said Brian Murphy, QDMA CEO “Joining Mossy Oak’s unique ‘True North Wednesday’ block, dedicated to conservation, makes Pursuit a unique platform to educate and entertain viewers with the latest in QDM practices.”

Pursuit CEO Rusty Faulk said, “With more and more hunters interested in deer and habitat management, we are thrilled to have QDMA join Pursuit in 2010. The incredible populations of quality whitetails we all enjoy today are due in no small part to the enormous efforts of organizations like QDMA. We truly consider it a compliment to have them join us here at Pursuit.”

Founder and CEO of Mossy Oak, Toxey Haas added, “Growing stuff is among my most sincere obsessions. Whether it’s a food plot, an oak seedling or a healthy deer population, it is a year-round addiction. The QDMA has been an immense source of information and education to feed that addiction. Wildlife conservation is at the core of our brand, so the Mossy Oak team is delighted to have QDMA join us on Pursuit.”

The re-air of Quality Deer Management Association’s “Quality Whitetails Television” show will begin on Pursuit in January 2010.
