Hamburg, PA -(AmmoLand.com)- Pursuit Channel welcomes Doug Koenig’s Championship Season to NRA Freedom Friday lineup at 10:00 pm EST.
This week’s show includes a special moment as Doug and his two sons hunt Turkey in Florida; then Doug and Trevor compete at the Sportsman’s Team Challenge National Championship in Marble Falls, Texas.
Sitting in a blind, covered by saw palmetto fronds in Ocala, Florida, Doug and his two sons patiently wait out the pouring rains. Guided by Gator Country Trapper & Outfitters, everyone’s rooting for Doug’s youngest son Bradley to shoot his first Osceola long beard turkey. Finally, the weather breaks, the calling begins and adrenaline levels rise as a memorable family affair unfolds.
Then it’s off to Copperhead Creek Sporting Club in Texas for the 2015 Sportsman’s Team Challenge which means one thing, breaking clay targets and shooting at colorful steel targets. Doug, Jerry Miculek and Michael Plaxo make up a winning trio as Team Smith & Wesson, while Trevor and his Junior Division team-mates The Eliminators huddle to devise their shooting strategy. It’s a character building event which combines teamwork and attracts families to enjoy a multi-discipline shooting competition.
