Houston, TX -(AmmoLand.com)- The Professional Sporting Clays Association (PSCA) will introduce the PSCA College Tour during the ACUI Clay Target Championships next month.

At the ACUI event, a special PSCA College event will be held to qualify participants for the PSCA Challenge in an opportunity to shoot under the lights in an exciting head to head competition. The PSCA event will be filmed for a future segment on the PSCA television show on the Sportsman Channel. Qualifying shooters may also be offered the opportunity to participate in the 2017 PSCA College Tour.

The PSCA College Tour award winners will be given strictly scholarships at the college or university they are enrolled in instead of cash prizes as a pro.

About the Professional Sporting Clays Association (PSCA):

The purpose of PSCA is to provide a professional league for top Sporting Clays athletes. The new college league will give qualified top Sporting Clays athletes access to competition with others of similar skill. It will also provide access to media and other notoriety, which in turn, will allow them all of the benefits of other professional sports. By creating such an Association the benefits will not be limited to the professional athletes, but also to amateur competitors, club owners, and the entire industry by allowing greater mainstream acceptance of all the shooting sports.
