USA -(Ammoland.com)- The Arizona Game and Fish Department is pleased to be hosting a Power of Data Teacher Workshop in the Summer 2017.
The Power of Data (POD) Project has been recognized by Change the Equation as an Accomplished STEMworks Program that makes a real impact on students.
Our professional learning programs enable secondary teachers to enhance their existing lessons with Geospatial Inquiry in order to to increase 6-12 grade students’ 21st century skills and STEM career awareness.
The workshop will be hosted in the Phoenix area.
It will most likely run from Monday, June 26 through Friday, June 30.
Participants who complete the entire summer program and all program requirements will receive:
- up to a $500 stipend
- a high quality learning experience
- instructional and technical support as you implement in your classroom
- a professional development certificate for 35 hours
We will be hosting an online information session on Thursday, December 15 at 7 p.m.
