WHAT: Outdoor Channel (NASDAQ: OUTD), America’s Leader in Outdoor TV, today announced that the online polls for the 12th Annual Golden Moose Awards’ five “Fan Favorite” categories are now open at www.OutdoorChannel.com/GMA.aspx.
An outdoor industry gold standard, the Golden Moose Awards (GMA) honor the best and brightest talent, production, graphics and design teams, and hosts behind Outdoor Channel’s best-in-class programming. Outdoor Channel will hand out a total of 20 honors at this year’s ceremony, held during the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) in Las Vegas. Approximately 2,500 outdoor industry leaders, TV personalities and media personnel attend the annual awards show.
Winners of the 2012 “Fan Favorite” categories, along with other GMA categories, such as Best Conservation Segment, Best Educational / Instructional, Best Videography / Camerawork, Best Commercial and Best Blooper, will be revealed on January 19, 2012 during the GMAs at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas.
