Police investigating VH1 star Stephanie Moseley and rapper Earl Hayes deaths in apparent murder-suicide (VIDEO)

Star of the VH1 series “Hit the Floor,” Stephanie Moseley was found dead Monday morning alongside her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, in their upscale Los Angeles apartment home. Police received a 911 call around 7:30 a.m. from at a resident of the same apartment complex who said she heard a woman screaming and around 10 gunshots.

“LAPD’s SWAT officers responded to the location and discovered two victims inside the apartment suffering from gunshot wounds,” LAPD said in a statement. “The initial investigation revealed that 34-year-old Earl Warren Hayes shot his wife, 30-year-old Stephanie Elyse Moseley to death and then took his own life.”

Unconfirmed reports indicate that Hayes was on FaceTime chat with friend and colleague Floyd Mayweather as the crime unfolded, which apparently stemmed over allegations that Moseley had been unfaithful in their marriage. Friends and family confirm that the couple was having marital problems, but nothing to indicate such a brutal act on the horizon.
