Grand Prairie, TX -(AmmoLand.com)- Plano Synergy is seeking a Creative Director who thinks strategically as well as creatively, knows how to lead projects, is organized and self-motivated, and has an eye for design.

This person will be someone who can demonstrate the following: excellent work ethic; communication and interpersonal skills; ability to function in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment; high integrity and intelligence; excellent judgment; a conceptual thinker – strategic as well as pragmatic; and an ability to generate trust and build alliances with co-workers.

Job Description:

Produces promotional and advertising materials by developing basic presentation approaches; directing layout, design, and execution; determining and monitoring production schedules; providing work direction to graphic designers.

Job Responsibilities:

The creative director will direct all visuals of the company under the supervision of the VP. They will work with their own internal team to deliver marketing collateral in various forms. The role blends the need to understand a variety of disciplines, so the creative director will need to be capable of working in art direction, concept planning, and timeline management, execution of deliverables and post-delivery reporting and analysis. This is a leadership position in every sense, and we need someone who can represent our company culture and standards to all levels and disciplines within the department and the company.

Education and/or Experience:

Proven knowledge of the fundamentals: interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process, as well as new platforms and technologies.
Ability to provide clear creative direction as well as timely and helpful feedback to improve creative processes that keep work on budget and schedule.
Bold leadership skills. We need someone who is confident in everything from team building and mentoring to guiding a team of creative talent.
Effective presentation skills and communication abilities at all levels of both internal and client organizations.
Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term need. Timelines budgets and change. Problem solve on the fly
Entrepreneurial mindset, with a take-it-to-the-next-level mentality
Experience in all current design programs and software
BA/BS required
