NRA Life of Duty released the second part of their two-part Patriot Profile: Highest Honor.
Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer recounts the incredible lengths he went through to reach his Marine brothers. Pinned down and surrounded by nearly 50 Taliban insurgents, Meyers faced nearly insurmountable odds and fought his way into the village of Ganjgal.
He carved out a path and finally made it to his fellow Marines, but it was too late. Though Meyers said he feels he failed, his heroic efforts and incredible bravery, coupled with the fact that he was awarded the Medal of Honor, says otherwise.
Below is the first part of the series that was released early last month.
