The Tennessee Highway Patrol headquarters in Bartlett was riddled with bullet holes after someone opened fire on the building over the weekend.
Investigators said the incident occurred just before 9 p.m. Sunday and evidence gathered at the scene indicates the person responsible pulled up to the building and got out of the car before unloading the magazine. Altogether, at least 14 spent rounds from an AK-47 were recovered.
Three people were in the building at the time of the shooting and at least four of the rounds made their way through the front glass and into the building. Thankfully, no one was injured.
The incident is still under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.
