Outdoors Magazine Signs Sponsorship Agreement
Colchester, VT –-(AmmoLand.com)- Outdoors Magazine and the Vermont Big Game Trophy Club (VTBGTC) put the finishing touches on a principal sponsorship agreement.
“In a short time frame the Vermont Big Game Trophy Club has redefined the standard for the way similar programs will be measured around the country. They are a model organization, and their relentless hard work has brought to light new state records and dozens of Boone and Crockett animals taken in Vermont that had been previously unrecognized,” said James Austin, president of Elk Publishing, the parent organization of Outdoors Magazine. “We are proud to continue to work with them for years to come.”
“Outdoors Magazine has been there supporting us since the club’s inception,” said VTBGTC co-founder Brad Hanson. “We consider ourselves very lucky to have such a great publication with its roots in Vermont, and people working there that are as passionate about the state as we are.”
The VTBGTC has some exciting events coming up in the next few months. There will be a handful of scoring events, as well as the VTBGTC Awards Banquet on June 25 – 26 in Barre, Vt. In conjunction, they will also be hosting the Vermont Taxidermy Classic that same weekend, which is the first competition of its kind in over 10 years in the state. Outdoors Magazine will be bringing you more details in the days to come, or visit www.vermontbiggametrophyclub.com for more information.
“That event will be fantastic,” said Kyle Scanlon, editor of Outdoors Magazine. “I know they will be recognizing Vermont’s new state record whitetail by antler size there, and rumor also has it that they have accepted a new state record deer by body weight, and that it is a 300-pounder,” he said. “Thanks to our partnership agreement, Outdoors Magazine will be the first to bring the public this story.”
