Posewitz was honored at the National Conservation Achievement Awards in Washington D.C.

Orion has been instrumental in the area of national public education for the advancement of ethical hunting, wildlife conservation and the preservation of our hunting heritage.  As Orion’s founder, Posewitz has written several books and papers focusing on ethical hunting lessons, which are still used in wildlife classrooms today.

Orion also provides leadership on issues, policies and objectives for national conservation and government agencies that will educate hunter’s behavior. Since 1994, Orion’s leaders have influenced local and national policy affecting the future of fair chase and responsible hunting.  Today, they continue their work connecting with state agencies, NGO’s and the outdoor industry on responsible hunting projects.
