Nearly 10 years in the making, the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum is the result of a partnership between the National Rifle Association and Bass Pro Shops. Bass Pro Shops donated the space and designed and built the 7,500-square-foot museum while NRA provided the firearms, text and storylines for the exhibits.
You’re also invited to tour the adjoining Archery Hall of Fame Museum, which preserves the history and tradition of archery and bowhunting through special exhibits from Geronimo’s bow to memorabilia from the legendary Fred Bear collection.
As part of the NRA News coverage of the grand opening, “Cam & Company” will broadcast live from the museum on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 1 and 2, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. eastern time. John Popp and Cameron Gray will sit in for Cam Edwards and broadcast live from the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum’s grand opening in Missouri. They will feature interviews with special guests and VIP’s from NRA, Bass Pro Shops and the surrounding area. The shows will air on NRANews.com and on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Patriot Channels.
