A tattoo shop in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, will be offering up their services for free next month, but the offer only applies to a very specific group of people – those who have gang or hate-related tattoos they want covered.
Jamy Magee, owner of The Parlour Hair and Ink, which is located just outside of Tulsa, said he’s willing to help anyone whose heart is in the right place. The shop will be a “judgment free zone” and everyone is asked to leave their hate at the door.
“I think this is a great way to move forward. We can help cover up the past and have them walk out of here with the past in the past,” Magee said.
The tattoo cover-ups will begin at noon on September 12 and will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis only. Magee said the shop will provide drinks and snacks to those waiting in line.
