USA -(AmmoLand.com)- October fishing, hunting and boating are all highlighted this week on America Outdoors Radio.
On the fishing front we’ll chat with Guide Steve Huber about salmon and steelhead fishing in Northern California and Southern Oregon. After that we’ll head north to Washington’s Puget Sound where Kelly Hawley with Tom N Jerry’s Boat Center will let you know how the blackmouth salmon fishing is and also invite you to participate in one of two derbies taking place around the San Juan Islands the first of December.
We’ll also tell you about a couple of Alaska rivers kicking out trout and salmon this month and then head to the Southeast region of our United States where the Big Bass Tour series is wrapping up for 2016 and gearing up for another year where the angler with the single biggest bass wins a brand new bass boat at each of the tournaments they put on.
Guides and friends of guides will be interested to hear what Shane Meisel has to say about the Leupold Pro Guide Program where licensed hunting and wildlife watching guides can get top notch gear at 50 percent off the retail price of the rifle scope, spotting scope, rangefinder or binoculars they can use in the field. We’ll also talk to Dave Poppe with Kick-EEZ about their unique recoil pads for shotguns and rifles that will keep you from coming home with shoulder bruising the next time you go out shooting.
Last but not least, it’s time to winterize your boat and Ken Estes with Cascade Marine in Portland, Oregon will tell you exactly how to go about doing it the right way!
