The 240th Anniversary of the Shot Heard ‘Round the World, the beginning of the Revolutionary War at Lexington and Concord
Stewart Rhodes, founder of Oath Keepers is our keynote speaker.

- Held at Veterans Park, Canon City, CO (located on the south side of Highway 50 between 1st and 4th Street, west end of town)
- Parking in the park, across the street at the city building, and in town.
Music by: former CO Sen George Rivera and his Fat Chance Blues Band; Normagene Ricci singing the Star Spangled Banner (she is retired Air Force and Secretary of the Pueblo County Republican Party); Michael Hume, retired military, singer and journalist.
Presentation of colors by the Canon City High School Color Guard
Invocation by Paul Palmisano, founder of New Life Academy, a school for high school students and adults, teaching the Constitution and Christian values. Paul was also a first responder at ground zero, as a volunteer firefighter.

- Sheriff Shannon Byerly, Sheriff of Custer County, CO
Stewart will lead us all in a reaffirmation of our Oaths to the Constitution at the conclusion of the event.
Veteran’s Park is a beautiful park with grass and trees. We are telling attendees to bring their lunch and lawn chairs, and enjoy a wonderful celebration of our nation’s history.
