Two women dressed as nuns – or perhaps genuine sisters of the cloth – attempted to rob a bank near Tannersville, Pennsylvania, Monday.
the women, one donning a pair of dark shades, entered the Citizens Bank, brandished a handgun, and demanded money, according to reports.
Although further details of the crime were not released, the women appeared to leave empty-handed. It’s unclear if conscience, faith, or fear kept them from walking out with wads of cash or whether there was some other contributing factor.
Regardless, the women are now being sought by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
