NRA’s National Firearms Museum Welcomes New Director
Fairfax, Virginia – NRA Board member and renowned firearms dealer Jim Supica has been announced as the Director of the NRA’s National FirearmMuseum, located at NRA Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. Supica’s experience includes conducting live auctions, writing columns for theAmerican Rifleman and Shotgun News, and maintaining the top-ranking firearm websites ArmchairGunShow.com and ArmsBid.com.
“Jim’s wealth of knowledge and experience will take our National Firearms Museum in new directions,” Executive Director of General Operations Kayne Robinson said. “He brings a comprehensive understanding of the role firearms play in our nation’s history and we are pleased to welcome him to our Museum family.”
Supica is an NRA Certified Instructor and contributor to the Blue Book of Gun Values, Standard Catalog of Firearms, Combat Shotguns, and S&W Sixguns of the Old West, among others. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas and has served on the NRA’s Board of Directors since 2001.
“It is an honor to join an organization I believe in as much as the NRA,” Supica said. “I told my family the NRA offered me the only job I could love more than my current one of firearms dealer. I’m looking forward to serving the cause of the National Firearms Museum.”
