FAIRFAX, Va. –-(Ammoland.com)- On the heels of a wildly successful first season, the National Rifle Association announced that episodes for Season 2 of NRA’s Guns and Gold, shown exclusively on Sportsman Channel, will be filmed on April 12 at the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in St. Louis, Missouri.
NRA members and supporters are encouraged to bring their old or unique firearms to America’s Center in St. Louis on April 12th from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Once at the America’s Center, experts from the National Firearms Museum will examine your treasure, explain the gun’s markings and historical significance, and ultimately provide an approximate value. Many will be amazed by the value of their treasured heirlooms while others may learn they only have sentimental value.
“NRA’s Guns & Gold features real Americans and the tales of their guns,” said Jeff Poole, Director of NRA Membership Programs. “Whether they’ve been passed down for generations or only recently acquired, the stories and unexpected values of these firearms will have many viewers scrambling to learn more about their own treasured guns.”
Produced for Sportman Channel by Warm Springs Productions, NRA’s Guns & Gold features Jim Supica and Phil Schreier from the National Firearms Museum as their renown expertise is tested by some of the most interesting and unique firearms imaginable – not to mention the fascinating stories that come with each gun.
“Whenever we partner with NRA – it is more than just a show. It’s a partnership that reflects our leadership and commitment to the American Sportsman, whose right to bear arms is vigilantly protected by the NRA.” said Graig Hale, VP of Business Development at Sportsman Channel.
