Fairfax, VA – -(Ammoland.com)- On behalf of our nearly six million members across the country, the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) today endorsed Kris Kobach for governor of Kansas.
“Kris Kobach strongly supports our Second Amendment freedoms and Kansans can count on him to protect our fundamental right to self-defense,” said Chris W. Cox, NRA-PVF chairman.
Kobach firmly opposes the Bloomberg gun control agenda that would ban commonly owned firearms and magazines.
He opposed the recent ban on concealed carry in medical facilities and is committed to opposing any further rollback of the Public Building Security Act. In addition, Kobach strongly supports our hunting heritage and believes hunting is a valuable tool for wildlife management, a positive use of natural resources, and an American tradition that teaches young people responsibility and respect for the outdoors.
“I’m a gun owner, a sportsman and an avid hunter. I’m also a husband and father. Self-defense is one of our most basic human rights. Yet anti-gun forces have been working overtime to restrict your right to keep and bear arms. Allowing citizens to protect themselves and their families is a Constitutional right that is bestowed on every American. As Governor, I will fight to safeguard and defend your right to keep and bear arms.
I will preserve our concealed carry rights and I will seek to expand our right to keep and bear arms. If the legislature attempts to restrict our rights in any way, I will veto such a bill.” ~ Kris Kobach
“The NRA and our members thank Kris Kobach for his steadfast support of the Second Amendment. We urge all NRA members, gun owners and sportsmen in Kansas to vote Kris Kobach for governor in November.”
