Washington DC – -(Ammoland.com)- On November 12 2014, the NRA told Breitbart News there is “absolutely no scenario” in which they would endorse Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) in 2016.
Reid’s last run for office was in 2010, and even then, the NRA refused to endorse him. The NRA made clear that neither the organization nor executive vice president Wayne LaPierre endorsed Reid.
Since then – and especially since the heinous, criminal attack on Sandy Hook Elementary in December 2012 – Reid’s push for gun control has only widened the chasm that existed between him and the NRA in 2010.
The NRA told Breitbart News: “Given his actions, votes, and full-throated support of the Obama-Bloomberg gun control agenda, there is absolutely no scenario where the NRA would endorse Senator Reid.”
