The rifle, built by Noveske, utilizes features and components most commonly found on custom setups to give the firearm a high quality appeal. The long gun features an 18-inch barrel with 1/2-28 thread pitch. Other notable attributes include a Geissle SD-E trigger, Super Badass charging handle, MBUS Pro sights, Key Mod quick release swivel mount and slide stud as well as an ambidextrous safety.
Touted as a reliable and accurate hunting companion, the Varmageddon AR was designed to to be the “ultimate varmint hunting platform,” according to the company.
“The Varmageddon AR is equally at home in the prairie dog towns of the plains, calling coyotes in the sagebrush and even fills the role as a formidable competition rifle,” Nosler said in a press release.
Introduced in January at SHOT Show, the 22 Nosler cartridge offers a 300 feet per second increase in muzzle velocity over the .223/5.56. Though the cartridge is new, several companies have been lining up to offer rifles and parts for the Nosler’s latest round offering.
The 22 Nosler Varmageddon AR is ready to ship to consumers with a MSRP of $2,869.95.
