Nosler expands their semi-custom, bolt-action rifle series with the addition of the new Model 48 Long Range, the company announced Wednesday.

Designed with the serious shooter in mind, Nosler built the rifle from the ground up. Machining the action from a solid block of steel, the Model 48 is built to offer a rigid platform for the best accuracy.

The bolt rides on precisely machined action rails, while the front of the receiver is designed to true up with the match grade 26-inch Shilen stainless steel barrel. The barrel is free-floated in a Manners MCS-T stock. The stock utilizes aluminum pillars alongside a forgiving recoil pad for long days in the field or on the range.

Offering a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle with protective cap, the Model 48 also includes a removable muzzle brake. Rounding out the features is a crisp, single stage Timney trigger with integral two position safety.

The rifle comes with an impressive line-up of chamberings to include 6.5 Creedmoor, 26 Nosler, 28 Nosler, 300 Win Mag, 30 Nosler and the relatively new 33 Nosler.

The Model 48 Long Range is currently priced at $2495.
